| Bill
Goldberg -vs- Sting The match started off even, as both Goldberg and Sting were doing their moves. However, the match turned dramatically when Sting was Jackhammered twice in a row. Sting showed why he was a favourite when he kicked-out on both of them. From there on in, Sting completely dominated, and made Goldberg submit to the Scorpion Deathlock. Kane -vs- Mark Henry The battle of the big men started off as a pushover for Kane. Manhandling Mark Henry. However Kane couldn't execute the Tombstone, which let Mark Henry get back into the match. After numerous brawls on the ground, it seemed over for Kane when Paul Bearer tripped Mark Henry. However Kane wasn't DQ'ed. After another few minutes of trading blow for blow, Kane finally got enough room to execute the Tombstone. 1...2...3, Kane advanced. Sting -vs- Kane This was a one sided final, in which Kane dominated from start to finish. Sting couldn't string a couple of hits together, which in the end led to his demise. Kane once again executed the Tombstone, to perfection, and was crowned WWF World Champion. However Sting doesn't walk away empty handed, Sting was crowned WWF Intercontinental Champion Hart/Foley -vs- Maivia/Goldberg Mic Foley (ManKind) was the difference in this match, taking care of The Rock early on. That set the tone for the rest of the match, with Hart dominating Goldberg, when Goldberg was done, Mankind stepped in and did the rest. DDP/X-Pac -vs- Hogan/Mustafa All opponents matched up well, with each team remaining equal throughout. Hogan and Mustafa started to gain an edge when DDP was in the ring for 10 minutes straight. It looked over for DDP, until he quickly tagged in X-Pac. X-pac used multiple kicks and martial arts moves to wear done Kama and Hogan. Kama then regained the edge and tagged in Hogan, who proceeded in finishing off X-pac, however DDP was tagged and Diamond Cut his way to the final. Hart/Foley -vs- DDP/X-Pac Hart and Foley started to gain the early lead, after ManKind quickly beat up DDP. Both teams then traded blow for blow, it was dead even. Suddenly out of no where, X-Pac took Mankind into an Abdominal Stretch, and after a quick 1,2,3, Diamond Dallas Page and X-Pac were crowned WWF Tag Team Champions. |
